Carlos Yepez Martinez, 58, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Southridge Specialty Care, with his loving family by his side.
A Mass of Christian Burial has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish-St. Henry Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M., followed by a rosary on Tuesday, October 6, also at the church. Carlos leaves behind his three children: Gabriela, Daniela and Jairo Yepez from Marshalltown; his grandson who will be arriving soon; his seven siblings: Ma. Consuelo, Ana María, Refugio, Esteban, Óscar, Marco Antonio and Francisco Yepez Martínez; several nieces and nephews and his best friend and his family.
