Kevin Arnett Herink, 64, of Clutier, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. A Mass will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church in Traer. Interment will be held at a future date at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Clutier. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4-7 PM at St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Tammy, of Clutier; his children: Kyle (Shellina) Herink, of Clutier, Alex (Kallie) Herink, of Cedar Rapids, and Erin (Tim) Johnson, of Bellevue; eight grandchildren; siblings: Craig (Dale) Herink, of Louisville, KY, Kent (Barb) Herink of Des Moines, Cheryl Crelly (David Cobos) of Phoenix, AZ, Cindy (Greg) Konrardy, of Shellknob, MO, and Christine (Kerry) Mohrfeld, of Ankeny; brother-in-law, Bob Holloman, of Rye, NY, sisters-in-law, Elaine Herink, of Johnston, and Debbie (Greg) Taylor, of Lee's Summit, MO; aunt in Traer; and many nieces and nephews.
