Marilyn Sanderson, longtime Albion resident, has passed away at age 91 on September 12, 2026, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.
Per Marilyn's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 19, 2026, beginning at 2 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshalltown. In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilyn's name may be made to Iowa River Hospice Home or the First Presbyterian Church in Marshalltown. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years. Mike (Red) Sanderson; Three children: Julie Kelsey, Bonnie (Daniel) Knuckey, and Anita (William) Sanderson; 4 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
