Courtney Elizabeth Clapper Ringhofer, 28, of Baxter, Iowa, departed this earthly world on Monday, October 5, 2026, at UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown Hospital. Her life was tragically cut short due to an unknown heart condition.
Per Courtney and her family's wishes, cremation rites will be followed. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown. A memorial service honoring Courtney's life has been scheduled for Friday, October 16th starting at 10:00 A.M., also at the church. Pastor Kerry Jech will be officiating.
Courtney is survived by her loving husband of six (6) years, Casey R. Ringhofer; her daughter, Theodora (age 3); her parents, Trent and Mickolyn Clapper; her brothers, William (Maria) Clapper and Trice Clapper, and several other relatives.
