Esther J. Griggs, 91, of Clinton, IA completed her earthly journey on September 30, 2026 at Addington Place in Clinton. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on October 5, 2026 followed by the funeral service at 11:30 at Gateway Bible Chapel in Clinton, IA. Burial & graveside will be at the Bloomington-Muscatine Friends Cemetery 3 miles N of Muscatine on Highway 38 on October 6 at 11:00 am.
Esther is survived by her husband Bill, of Clinton; 3 children: Debbie Traver, of Clinton, Dave (Jody) Griggs, of Carmel, IN, Dwight (Natalie) Griggs, of Brownsburg, IN; 5 grandchildren: Eric (Brittney) Traver, of Nederland, Texas; James (Charissa) Traver, of Albany, IL; Jeff (Gretchen) Traver, of Brownsburg, IN; Brooke Griggs (Kevin Budnik), of Chicago, IL; Brittany Griggs (fiance Calvin Nguyen), of Fishers, IN; 7 great-grandchildren: Jayden, Nora, Eden, Theodore, Ellie, Lucas and Elijah. Also, brother Gary (Becky) Grossklaus, and sister-in-law Deb Grossklaus. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Dave Grossklaus and son-in-law Cory Traver.
