Mary E. Abbe, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on October 12, 2026.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Hope United Methodist Church. Mary's funeral service will follow at 11:15 a.m. at the church, with a committal service to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Following the committal service, family and friends are invited to return to Hope United Methodist Church to share a time of food and fellowship with the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hope United Methodist Church of Marshalltown or The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Jeff Abbe and his wife, Karen, of Richmond, Texas; Jana Mueller and her husband, Larry, of Aurora, Illinois; and Jill Goedken and her husband, Brian, of Moneta, Virginia. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren.
