Craig Robert Goecke, 51, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames after a 14-month battle with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and was on the liver transplant list at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026 from 5:00- 7:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. The family requests everyone to dress casual as Craig was not a formal person. Mitchell Family Funeral Home will also coordinate a private burial to occur at a later date at Marietta Cemetery. Craig is survived by his parents, Bob and Paula Goecke; his sister, Lynn Goecke; his grandmother, Betty Kvidera; and his aunt and uncle.
