David Lee Muhlena, 81, of Union, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice.
Funeral services for Dave will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be attended by the immediate family, following the service at Eldora City Cemetery. David is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia. He is also survived by his children: David (Mary Pat) Muhlena, of Cedar Rapids, and Mike (Kelly) Muhlena, of Polk City; his four grandchildren and his siblings: Kenny (Cindy) Muhlena, of Marshalltown, and Judy McCoy, of Burlington.
