Mark Wierson

Mark Allen Wierson, previously of Marshalltown, IA, died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 24th, 2025, at the beautiful Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa after a valiant 3.5 year battle with cancer. Mark is survived by his wife Julia, his brother Craig (Fran), multiple cherished nephews and nieces, and his sons Wesley (Miranda) and Grant (Lauren), along with three grandchildren that were the sunshine of his life during this final battle. Richard “Rick” Luse went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the evening of July 26, 2025, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services for Rick will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown, Iowa.
