Arlene Stalzer, 96, longtime resident of Haverhill, Iowa and most recently The Willows of Marshalltown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 9 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish: Immaculate Conception Oratory in Haverhill. She will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Friends and family are also invited to attend a Rosary at 4:30 P.M., followed by a visitation on Sunday, June 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. William Tomlinson

William Lee (Bill) Tomlinson, a lifelong resident of Marshall County, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown, Iowa, surrounded by his family. He was 89 years old. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., with a light lunch immediately after. Burial will be at the Hartland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Iowa River Hospice House or the Hartland Cemetery Fund.

Roger Waugh, 87, passed on Friday, May 30, 2025, surrounded by family. Bernard Hala

Bernard Franklyn Hala, 82, "Bernie" due to deteriorating health problems, moved to daughter's home in northeast Illinois where he has passed away. Bernie is survived by his wife (Margaret) of 59 years, daughter (Brandi); son-in-law (James); daughter-in-law (Melinda). Four Grandchildren. Bernie's siblings: (Gene) Ledvina, Dave & Michele Hala, Doris Stewart. Brother-in-law, Charles & Marilyn Aldrich; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He chose to be cremated. Memorial service will be at a later date.
