Verona (Langenbau) Staker, 92, of Traer, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2026, from 9-11 AM at the Ripley United Church of Christ in Traer with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM at the church. David Alan Stahl, 68, of Liscomb, Iowa, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, at Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown,IA. Per David's request cremation rights have been accorded with interment at the Liscomb Cemetery at a later date. David is survived by sisters: Debbie Schiebel and JoAnn (Ken) Stock; brothers: Steve (Deb) and Jon; also many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind several close friends and coworkers and his beloved dog. The family wishes to thank Iowa River Hospice and the first responders for their care given to David.
