Steven John Hackbarth passed away on November 19, 2024. He suffered from dementia and died in Waterloo, Iowa. Steven was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, on April 3, 1950. His parents, Arlen and Lois Hackbarth, preceded him in death. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1968, participating in football and basketball. He continued sports into college, and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. Most recently, he has been farming near Ackley, Iowa.
