Anna Smith

Anna Katherine (Kunch) Smith, 89, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown after a very short illness. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Christ United Methodist Church in Toledo with Pastor Clint Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4-7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Survivors include her son, James H. (Nancy) Smith II, of Toledo; three grandsons; also, seven great grandchildren.

Dallas Haas

Dallas Dean Haas, 82, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Premier Estates of Toledo. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Reformed Baptist Church in Tama. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Vining, Iowa. He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Haas, of Michigan, and Dixie Braden, of Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
