Kay Smith

Kay Smith, 80, of New Providence, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls and under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. Memorial services held by the family will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cornerstone Church of Christ, 14777 US-65, Zearing, Iowa, 50278. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 a.m., please dress casual. Memorials may be directed to the Cornerstone Church. Cremation rites were cared for at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home.

Janet Olson

Janet Fay Olson was born on December 22, 1948, and joined her mother and sister in heaven on November 28, 2024. She lived most of her life in Marshalltown, and retired in Surprise, AZ. She is survived by her sister, Deb Laughlin, her brother, Donald (Oat) Olson, both of Marshalltown. She also leaves behind her daughter and son in law, Kim and Jason Windish. As well as four grandchildren. She was loved and is missed.
