Douglas Alan Ames, 69, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Per the wishes of Doug and his family, cremation rites have been accorded under the care of the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. There will be no formal services.
