Frieda Gerke, 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. There will be a public visitation at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 15. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, May 16 at 10:30 A.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. She will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in State Center. She is survived by many nieces and nephews in Germany and the United States.
