A staycation in Marshalltown is possible

Through the years the word “staycation” seems to get thrown around more and more.

This year, it seems that the notion to vacation close to home has really come to the forefront.

Is it really possible to have a staycation in Marshalltown? Yes, it is.

Did you know we have a wide variety of dining options just in Marshalltown for you to choose from? I know many visitors are amazed at the various choices we have in a community our size.

Are you needing to burn off that big meal? Recreation is not closed as a hike to Mildred’s Tower at the Grimes Farm and Conservation Center or a nice bike ride on our miles of bike paths in town can help the body and soul. Don’t forget a trip to Riverview Park where you can fish, play tennis, basketball or disc golf, hit the playgrounds, camp, hike, take the fur baby to the dog park and more!

Our hotels are taking sanitization and safety extremely seriously if you are looking for a getaway from that same home that you’ve become way too familiar with since March.

Please support our local businesses, restaurants and hotels and make some close-to-home memories. Your support will be appreciated more than you know.
