October is National Principals Month, and the Marshalltown CSD is proud to celebrate our team of exceptional principals and building-level administrators!

Using their profound knowledge and experience in public education, school principals play an essential role in students’ success – both day-to-day and over the long term. These leaders also show great empathy, dedication, and cooperation as they strive to provide the best learning environments for Bobcat students.

In addition to overseeing academic programs at their school buildings, principals partner with school staff to create and nurture strong relationships with the families they serve. Family engagement events, like Fisher Elementary’s Fall Scoop or Franklin Elementary’s recent Lunch on the Lawn, are examples of our principals’ commitment to robust community connections.

The District is also fortunate to have excellent building-level administrators in a variety of roles, including three associate principals, the MHS Activities Director, and the MHS Dean of Students.
