Democrats done with democracy
Last month, Susan Rice showed herself to be one face of the ugly left authoritarianism so prevalent in today’s Democrat party.
Gateway Pundit quoted her letting the wicked cat escape the bag. “When it comes to elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media…it’s not going to end well for them,” she recently told a podcaster.
Not, Rice elaborated, “for those that decided they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore is very short term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump.”
Trending Politics reported that Rice said her views were “based on conversations with prominent Democrats.”
The erstwhile Obama White House official and current Netflix board member was broadcasting direful threats without even 1/3 ounce of conscience. Her manner reminded of a prohibition-era mob boss, ordering hits on speakeasy operators who refused his gang’s bathtub-hooch barrels.
Not so long ago, Washington big shots with Ds after their names whined wistfully about “norms” they fretted were under attack. But Americans now see that those woke hand-wringers only value supposed norms when they advance personal partisan interests.
When established protocols and respect for popular will, demonstrated by voters’ choice of Donald Trump and his America First vision, are counterproductive to Democrats’ grimy ambitions, donkeys back-kick norms though the alley door.
When they win the presidency, they run matters. When they lose the presidency, they strive to sabotage national productivity and continue on woke course, regardless. Public opinion be damned.
Great majorities of American voters chose President Trump. But our opinions matter not to Democrats. They have eagerly seized every opportunity to throw wrenches into gears of governmental operation.
Lawfare skullduggery, at both state and national levels, was perpetrated. Just as have been conspiracies to claw away peoples’ choice Trump from ballots, and U.S. representatives and senators blocking administration initiatives with robotic predictability.
Nor is gleeful rejection of propriety found only in electoral political spheres. Consider the violence and destruction happily carried out by possibly paid protesters. Or the ungainly kick line of black-robed quislings, whose garbage-hearted members do their foul parts to foil the peoples’ democratic selection.
Rice, doing her best Big Al impersonation, effectively snickered “If these corporations think that the Democrats, when they come back in power are going to, you know, play by the old rules and [say] ‘Never mind. We’ll forgive you for all the people you fired, all the policies and principles you violated, all the laws you’ve skirted…
“I think they’ve got another think coming…They’re going to be surprised. Democrats have had a belly full, and we’re not going to, you know, play by the old set of rules.”
Democrats are done with democracy.
