We believe RAGBRAI is about more than the ride, it’s about the people. That’s why this year our message is simple. All Wheels Welcome. Marshalltown is an inclusive, diverse community and we pride ourselves in our friendliness, collaborations, and global innovations. Marshalltown is proud to host RAGBRAI overnight on Wednesday, July 22.

From seasoned cyclists to first-time riders, support crews to spectators, this is a place where everyone has a spot, a story, and a reason to celebrate. We’re turning Marshalltown into a high-energy, all-inclusive overnight experience. A main stage concert, food for every appetite, beverage garden and social spaces, local shops and vendors, and entertainment all day.

Our mission is to make sure all riders, drivers, and community members enjoy the Marshalltown RAGBRAI experience. From our local favorites to hidden gems, we’re proud to showcase what makes Marshalltown one of a kind.

Housing

Offer a yard for camping, driveway, or floor. Connect with riders and provide a warm welcome. You provide accommodations to your level of comfort – a yard for tent camping or in-house sleeping.

Vendors

We’re creating a vendor mix that enhances the event experience and supports both visitors and our local business community. Vendors + local businesses mean we’re ready to serve thousands and promote our diverse food offerings.

Volunteers

Join the team behind the welcome! We’re looking for volunteers to make Marshalltown a welcoming and memorable overnight community. Sign up individually or with a group. Connect with riders, support overnight areas and assist with rider needs, help with entertainment, or answer questions and guide visitors. No matter your schedule, experience, or fitness level, we’ve got a spot for you! Sign up online for more information.
