Don’t think twice … vote for Randy Price

Lately I have been discussing politics with others as the election nears and I keep hearing one consistent theme. “We need a change.” I agree. We need leaders who can work within the system without compromising their values or those of their constituents. Many leaders lead by example by giving their time to people or organizations that they feel are important or in need of their support. I feel Randy Price, one of our Marshall County Sheriff candidates, is a leader of exceptional caliber.

I have known Randy for nearly 20 years and have been impressed by his intelligence, poise and dedication to his work and family. I know he will work hard for the citizens of Marshall County. He has a decade of law enforcement experience, works a full-time job and owns his own local business installing and servicing garage doors. The fact that he has operated his own business for the past several years lends to the credibility that he has financial management capabilities, including excellent customer service and communication skills.

He attends many activities his own children participate in and has helped coach football, baseball and softball for the young of Marshall County.

In addition, he always found the time to voluntarily help serve veterans at the Iowa Veterans Home on Thanksgiving and Christmas from 2002-10. He showed up to pay tribute to the men and women who sacrificed so much to make our country what it is today. Always polite and pleasant, he served an important purpose by helping to serve and assist residents with their meals, making their day a little brighter by his conversations with them. He brought his children with him to many of these holiday meals to teach them the value of giving back to others and the community.

I have talked to many people throughout Marshall County and few people know much about Randy or his opponent. That can be dangerous. Especially if you’re voting for someone you know little or nothing about. I do know Randy Price, what he stands for, how hard he has worked, and his overall abilities to run a business and manage a family. After careful consideration, I am voting for Randy Price in 2016.

Starting at $4.38/week.
