Appearance of Riverside Cemetery
Over the Memorial Day weekend my family went to Riverside Cemetery and Rose Hill Cemetery. Rose Hill was beautifully mowed and cleaned up. All of the graves looked well cared for. However, when we went to Riverside Cemetery we were saddened to find areas unmowed, piles of leaves and uncontrolled weeds. We had to pull the weeds around our loved ones markers. We have never seen this cemetery in such a way that was seen then. It is a disgrace to ourselves and our loved ones who are buried there. From the article in the paper, we understand there are all new employees and the weather played a roll in this. However, we feel there is no excuse for the way it looked.
