Emergency Food Box appreciates community support

As we begin 2020 the Emergency Food Box Board on behalf of the volunteers and clients says thank you to the Marshall County community for its generous support during 2019.

Each year the board is overwhelmed with gratitude as they look back at the previous year and prepare for the new year. Each year there are a variety of ways individuals, businesses, schools, churches, groups and organizations have supported the food box ministry. The residents of the community conducted many tried and tested fundraisers throughout the year plus some new fundraising ideas.

During the coming year the clients will appreciate the continued support of the community. There are many ways that money and food contributions may be made throughout the year.

During 2019 donations of food, money and garden produce were made by individuals. The EFB was gifted with contributions from churches, grants, memorials and groups. If you are interested in conducting a food drive, contact the EFB at 641-753-0486 between 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or mail monetary donations to P.O. Box 391, Marshalltown, Iowa, 50158.

Again thank you from the clients who benefit from your generosity. May God bless you for your concern for those who need food on an emergency basis.
