On Jan. 22, we remembered the anniversary of the United States Supreme Court decision to make abortion legal in our country. What a sad day for the most vulnerable, least protected members of our society.

The size of a human life, or stage of development matters not. It deserves protection under the law.

When we say a woman has the right to do what she wants with her body, the act of abortion destroys another body, removes it from its life source.

Le us respect and give life to these tiny human beings. Pregnancy centers are available to provide assistance to those who need help in carrying their babies to term and beyond. Let us spend our dollars saving lives — not destroying them.

In the next election, I urge you to vote for the candidates who would choose to protect life — not destroy it.
