Trail usage increases during pandemic
I am a frequent trail user for bicycling. I enjoy riding bicycle on the trails while viewing the nature along the trails. The nice wide trail makes it easy to maneuver.
There are some trails near where I live. Some of the areas of the older trail need to be resurfaced to insure safety for bicyclists and joggers. We have plenty of areas of trail access so there should be a good number of people able to use the trail system.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic I’ve noticed a larger number of people using the trail especially the walkers. It’s a great way to get out and exercise as long as they adhere to the six foot distancing rule.
I trust that our state notices the increase in trail usage and can allocate more funds to maintain these valuable assets. Expanding these trails to our neighborhood communities will help stimulate the economy in each of the communities and promote healthy exercise to all of us citizens using the trails.
