I am proud to share my support for Sarah Tupper in the upcoming election for Marshall County Attorney.

Sarah has spent more than 10 years working as a prosecutor right here in Marshall County and has spent 20 years in public service. Sarah’s experience fighting for victims of tragic crimes like domestic violence and sexual assault is one indicator of her passion for helping others. The expertise, knowledge, and empathy she demonstrates in prosecuting crimes like these, and many others, demonstrates her commitment to justice and serving Marshall County.

Sarah also supports programs like drug court, an alternative to incarceration in which offenders have an opportunity to seek treatment under supervision of the court. Drug court helps to break the cycle of addiction, reunites families, and saves taxpayer dollars by averting the high cost of incarceration. Sarah supports a similar program for those struggling with mental health who are caught up in the justice system with legal issues.

Providing proper care to those in need is an important piece in rethinking crime and punishment. Savvy, experienced leaders who are willing to explore non-traditional solutions are needed to push these efforts forward. Sarah sits among these change-makers.

Outside of the courtroom, she is an active member of the community who is often seen attending local events, service clubs, and volunteering. Her love of community and dedication to her family is admirable.
