Feenstra wrong on Fitch credit downgrade
I found it odd that Randy Feenstra’s opinion piece cited the Fitch downgrade of US debt to be odd as this was what I had read: “Why Fitch downgraded U.S. credit? Fitch downgraded the United States to AA+ from AAA, citing fiscal deterioration over the next three years and repeated down-the-wire debt ceiling negotiations that threaten the government’s ability to pay its bills.”
To be clear, they were more concerned about the insanity coming out of the Republican House than anything else.
