I want to express my personal thanks for the work over the past years of Sr. Chris Feagan. Sr. Chris is leaving Marshalltown to return to her home community of Dominican Sisters in Wisconsin. Sr. Chris has been instrumental in her work with the diverse populations in Marshalltown. She helped build bridges with community members of all languages resulting in a stronger community in Marshalltown.

I always knew I could call her if I knew someone in need or I had something that maybe a newcomer to the community might want. She served as a catalyst that brought people together. She not only introduced new community members to the religious life at St. Mary’s and St. Francis, but she introduced them to the community. She was always willing to help someone in need, to serve on a committee, to help translate materials for the benefit of all. She worked with many community organizations to make Marshalltown a better place for all to live. She raised awareness of the needs of all people in our community.

I will miss her grace and dignity in dealing with all people. I will miss her support and her smile. Blessings to Sr. Chris on her new adventures. Thank you from the community of Marshalltown.
