We are pleased to write in support of Mark Mitchell in his desire to be council member for the Second Ward.

We believe our community will enjoy Mark as Second Ward councilman and will realize he is a very observant, engaging, and responsible citizen of Marshalltown. He absolutely is able to focus on the fiscal realities (needs) of our community and secondarily maintain a laser focus with regard to balancing social (wants) perspectives going forward.

Our families before us lived and breathed blue collar as do we. Marshalltown’s lifeblood courses through blue collar veins. Marshalltown will go nowhere without the day-in, day out budgeted support of families like ours. I strongly believe that is a perspective Mark Mitchell aims to keep front and center while additionally considering civic improvements when appropriate.
