My wife and I are writing this letter in support of Mark Mitchell in his bid to be elected as our new Second Ward council member. Cindy and I have known Mark for many years, both as a friend and church member.

Mark has always shown the character traits of kindness and care for others. We’ve seen this demonstrated in his willingness to serve others during community and church events. Mark has blessed our church body often by stepping up to help those in need. He is a good listener and problem solver. If the people of Marshalltown’s Second Ward want someone who will listen and act, that’s Mark Mitchell! We both believe Mark loves our community and seeks to serve Marshalltown’s Second Ward with his servant’s heart.
