Living in Marshalltown, we have experienced meaningful opportunities for involvement and are proud to have made this our home. We choose this community to be where we work and raise our daughter. We choose to live here because we feel a greater sense of community and hope for the future of Marshalltown. We also work to understand the tough challenges that face communities and believe in making progress on community development. Gabe Isom has exercised leadership and worked with fellow council members over the past six years in his role as a city councilor toward the betterment of Marshalltown. Downtown Revitalization, the Arts and Culture Master Plan, and improvements to Park and Recreation programs and amenities are the elements of community development that Gabe understands. Maintenance of streets, and trails, and a focus on code enforcement, are also areas Isom looks to continue to support. It’s efforts like these that will continue to help families choose Marshalltown. While looking at the community from decades ago can be nostalgic, it is the future of Marshalltown that we set our sights on and why we are supporting Gabe Isom as Second Ward city council member.
