Time gone by
“Where has the time gone?” People use this phrase all the time but I want to re-empathize it, ” It seems that nature has blasted many days past us, just zooming like a Roman Candle. Fzzz, whiz, bang. Fzz, whiz, bang. A whole month goes by in an instant. The holiday we were looking forward to, is now yesterday. But we still have time to give attention to the Holiest day in the World — the birthday of God’s Son.
His redeeming nature is needed now, as the World slides into hatred and murder. The chaotic events of today were predicted long ago by the Prophet Daniel and the Apostle John. The Messiah couldn’t come at a better time! There is such animosity that our prayer-time seems like it is shut down and our pleas are bouncing off the doors of Heaven. Is God listening to any of our concerns? There is enough blame to give to both sides but we have to look at where and when this war began.
Who fired the first shots? Who murdered any Jewish person they saw? Who invaded whose land? Who cut off the heads of babies? Who kidnapped Israelites, raping and mutilating them? What people are now realizing what a huge mistake they made? The answer is Hamas!
What seems illogical to me is why are there sides to this conflict? Why are some blaming Israel for protecting themselves? Do you think that Hamas is suddenly going to become saint-like and change their ways? It makes sense to place the blame where it belongs; with satan. He knows how to infect people’s attitudes and he has done a marvelous job of stirring up the folks who are not God’s people.
Scripture tells us this war was going to happen. What should we do while this fighting goes on? We are to keep on keeping on, with prayer and doing the Godly things that Jesus laid out in his Beatitudes. Christians must be aware of these times and be prepared that at any moment, Jesus could return. This chaos is the beginning of the celestial battle that will end satan’s reign on Earth. Have you chosen the right-way of living? It is up to us to know the choice we must make. Will we live in righteousness or evilness! Trust the words of the Creator.
