Melisa Fonseca is running to represent the 4th Ward in Marshalltown on the City Council in the special election on July 16. We just came from the Candidate Forum held in Dejardin Hall, where she showed that she genuinely cares about Marshalltown. I could tell her answers were heartfelt. I am so impressed with her knowledge of the community, her energy, enthusiasm and her vision for Marshalltown. She has shown her leadership ability in the organizations she volunteers for, and her real estate business. She will work for a more inclusive city government and really listen to the residents of the 4th Ward.
