We just witnessed a national political convention in Chicago where Democrats nominated Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for President and Vice President. Both believe all people are equal and deserving of public participation in our democratic society. We watched an earlier national political convention in Milwaukee where Republicans rubber stamped weird bigoted convicted felon Donald Trump and homophobic misogynist JD Vance as President and Vice President. Both want to drive America back to the Dred Scott antebellum era as President and Vice President. They will be rejected by the public in November.

Jinita Boyd, who cares what offends you? You are irrelevant in today’s society. I am moving to Marshalltown because I am tired of seeing Jinita Boyds in North Carolina and know Marshalltown is progressive.
