School kicks off fully in Marshalltown on September 3. We want to thank and encourage all of the education professionals in our community. Marshalltown is blessed to have exceptional public and private schools. Working in education is a tough gig. There are a lot of people looking for reasons to criticize our schools and the people who serve our community in education roles. This criticism is uncalled for and unfounded.

Our local education professionals are doing an outstanding job! Our kids are receiving a world class education. We appreciate everyone serving in these important roles. Our teachers, paraeducators, bus drivers, administrators, and support staff all work diligently each day to build up our future leaders. There are no more important jobs in our community and we support all of you. You face many daily challenges, please know you are appreciated. Your work matters and you are making a difference.
