Getting paid by the county to farm

I have lived and farmed in Marshall County for over 30 years. I work hard every day of the year to provide for my wife and kids. I raise crops, some livestock, and I do everything I can to take care of my land and animals so my family can continue to survive on the farm. We work hard while our county superintendent is able to farm all day for himself while pulling in his $70-80,000 a year salary plus cheap insurance with good coverage. He leaves work by 7:30 most mornings to go home to farm and alot of days doesn’t go back at all. I pay over $1,000 a month for insurance to cover my family and have to work hard for every one of those dollars. Our county superintendent is conning Marshall County out of his salary, his insurance and I’m sure other benefits without putting in the work he’s hired to do. How does Marshall County allow this to happen? A lot of people know it’s happening, and know it’s been happening for years, but no one does anything about it. And don’t try to tell me he works so many extra hours in the winter to make up for it and he’s earned the time off! Our winters have not been that bad, or couldn’t possibly be bad enough to give that kind of time off! Why is it fair for this guy to steal taxpayers money from the county to pay him to do his farming and pay for insurance for his family when the rest of us have to work so hard just to survive? Our Marshall County managers need to wake up and take control back!
