Biden-Harris Admin. invests in Marshall County

It’s time to give credit where credit is due.

I raised my family in Marshalltown and Marshall County still means home to me. I want to share some good news.

In the last four years, the Biden-Harris Administration invested $20,315,551 in 28 projects in Marshall County through the American Rescue Plan Act and the Infrastructure Investment Jobs Act.

Projects, community by community, include:

Albion: Water Meter Read System – $73,266

Clemons: Sewer – $21,083

Ferguson: Dead Tree Removal – $8,525, Fire Department Radios – $6,634

Gilman: Fire Bay Doors – $20,022, Emergency Equipment – $52,347

Haverhill: EMS Program – $24,970

Laurel: Meter Replacement Upgrades – $8,302, Siren/Generator Project – $26,238

All of this and more in Marshall County. The state of Iowa received more than $14 billion.

These dollars improve our communities and result in jobs. You or someone you know got a paycheck because the Biden-Harris Administration invested in us. We all benefit from these improvements. Much of the investment in our county sustained jobs while we recovered from the pandemic. These investments prevented our county, our state, and our nation from facing the kind of recession so many other countries experienced.

Republican Representative Randy Feenstra voted against these bills.

As you go to the polls to vote, think about who invests in our community and who simply talks a good game. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz care about our communities and get work done.

Starting at $4.75/week.
