My wife and I had infertility problems, after several years of testing, procedures and expenses, we decided to pursue adoption. We were able to adopt two wonderful children, whose Birth mothers had unplanned pregnancies, but fortunately chose “life” and made an adoption plan and followed through with it. As active Catholics and members of St. Francis Church, I believe we must vote for candidates who will protect an innocent baby, still growing in its mothers womb. While Sue Cahill is a good person and strongly believes in and works at helping others, I cannot support someone with a strong pro-abortion voting record and many of the other values and policies she supports.

Sue is rated “very liberal” on iVoterGuide.com, and her policies differ significantly from conservative values. David Blom supports lower taxes, smaller government, and parental rights in education — issues crucial for our community’s well-being.

As a member of the majority party in Des Moines, David Blom is the better candidate who can effectively pass legislation that benefits Marshall County. His position allows him to advocate for policies that directly support our community’s needs. Voting for David means choosing a leader who can make a real impact for us.

As we consider the direction of our state, it’s clear we need leaders who prioritize family values and fiscal responsibility. I urge you to keep an open mind and evaluate the impact of liberal versus conservative policies on our future.
