It’s almost time for early voting here in Iowa. If you have been distressed by the lack of interest in public opinion evidenced by legislative actions the past several sessions, you can take action! The majority of us do not want a private school voucher program with no income limits, no accountability, and funding at the public-school systems’ expense. The majority of us do not want the AEAs dismantled. The majority of us want nothing to do with the carbon pipeline and especially not with the use of eminent domain. The majority of us do not agree with a 6-week abortion ban. Those are just some of the issues of concern from the most recent sessions.

The Senate could lose its super majority if we elect Mike Wolfe. Senators will then have to work in a more bipartisan way. The House needs Sue Cahill and Ryan Condon in order to have more balanced representation. This is an election that could make the Iowa legislature better reflect the wishes of the majority of Iowa citizens. Take action! Vote!
