Hardin County Cattleman, farmer, and producer are some of my titles but today I’m an advocate. I’d like to advocate and ask others to do the same.

Agriculture in Hardin County is the lifeblood for our community and our culture. Over my decades of being a cattleman and producer I’ve seen highs and lows and I believe we can learn from the past. Part of the past is understanding that certain people lead better in certain situations. I wouldn’t claim to be an advisor on brain surgery and I’ll let brain surgeons be experts. When it comes to governance in Hardin County I’d prefer to have someone that lives on a farm, active in agribusiness, understands renewable fuels, and wakes up and goes to bed on a farm making decisions for other farmers. I don’t expect a local city council to have me come and try and change their community because I’m not a city guy and I don’t know the city life and I expect the same reciprocated.

I’d ask that you vote for BJ Hoffman for Hardin County Supervisor. BJ is an actual farm owner, he’s involved in the operations on his family’s farm, he’s very approachable, and like his Grandparents, John and Dorothy Yantis he cares about Hardin County.

I’d prefer someone with a current farm knowledge and agricultural background making decisions about rural Hardin County, not a person that lives in a city. If you value rural life in Hardin County you’ll vote for BJ Hoffman.
