On Monday, April 14, I was on my way to get a perm next to Sports Plus. As I approached the corner ready to step up on the curb, a pedestrian there said something. I was distracted briefly and I put my cane wrong and went down. While trying to figure out how to get up; two passersby, a male and a female came by. With their help, I got up. I thanked those three good Samaritans. With all the bad things that are happening these days, it is nice to encounter kind people.

I am also a graduate of MHS in 1960 and this year would be our 65th class reunion. We tried to have our 60th reunion in 2020; but as you will remember, we had a pandemic running rampant. We cancelled our plans.

I was able to attend a reunion last year that was hosted by the Class of 1959. They included 1957, 1958, 1960 and 1961. It was thoughtful of them to do that and I would like to thank them.

I would also like to extend best wishes to the Class of 1960 on our 65th reunion and more especially to pay tribute to those classmates who have passed away since we graduated.
