There are many ways God calls us. The Bible is full of information on creation, who the Creator is and what He wants every person to do. In almost every book of the Bible there are statements of creation and when God will close out time. (Matt. 24:3-14 and Luke 21: 10-11. God’s history has always been a challenge for me. Many pastors of by-gone days painted an angry picture of God but that’s just not true. God has a special love for His creation. His concern for us has always been loving and kind. That love reveals the fact that He made a plan in Genesis to rescue humans from the mess Adam and Eve chose for us. At the appropriate time, He would send someone to help us to get out of our lost, spiritual condition. Life doesn’t end when we die! There is a lot of work to do before we leave earth. Life is a testing time and a place to learn Spiritual information. These moments of scripture have been my reading passion. Our Pastor has been preaching about the “Signs of Times.” God gives a very precise and clear moment when we need to watch for these recorded events. He is not being cold-hearted, He leaves us with many choices of when to watch the skies, and the nations, that war against good people. Life as we know it, and live it, is a struggle between good people and those who hate God. In life, we learn to say no, and yes. We make choices that keep us aligned with God. Our beginning came about by Heavenly desire. By sin, we fell out of favor with Him. In Genesis, God promises a helpmate. When the helpmate came, humans were firmly entrenched in sin; we failed to see or accept this helper. In Revelation we see God closing out the times of humans. Our most important choice today is to recognize that “Helper” rejected by his people: He is the only way to eternal salvation.
