Have you ever wanted to see how the sausage is made? Maybe not–but wouldn’t you want to know the person who does know how it’s done, and more importantly, has a recipe that works?

That’s how I feel about Eric Goslinga. When it comes to leadership, whether in the classroom, the community, or on the School Board, I want someone with experience, knowledge, commitment, and passion. Eric has all of that and more.

His years as an educator and administrator in the Marshalltown Schools make him uniquely qualified to serve taxpayers and families well. He has a vested interest in the district’s success — not only professionally but personally — as his boys attend school here and his family has long been part of this community.

On a personal note, Eric played a key role in my own son’s growth, leading the Naval Sea Cadet Corps and instilling valuable leadership skills that continue to shape him today. That kind of impact speaks volumes about Eric’s character and dedication to youth development.
