I am writing in support of Sue Cahill’s campaign to represent the City of Marshalltown as one of our at-large city council members.

I have known and worked with Sue for several years. Sue has been a dedicated educator and public servant. Sue loves Marshalltown and has worked tirelessly to build up our community. Sue believes in our community because she believes in the people who call Marshalltown home. Sue is a team player, she has exceptional communication skills, she listens to concerns and is a proven consensus builder. Sue will collaborate with her constituents, city staff, and fellow council members to solve problems. There are few people in our community who have a better understanding of Marshalltown and the challenges we face. Sue has the experience necessary to take these challenges on. Sue will be able to jump in immediately and go to work. As a council member, Sue will partner with all of us to keep Marshalltown strong.
