We own our home and pay property taxes. Our six kids own their homes and pay property taxes. Our 14 grandchildren will never afford a home. If elderly can’t afford property taxes, there are low-income apartments and HUD. We don’t qualify.

My grandparents lived in low-income apartments. My parents could not afford property taxes on the farm, so they moved to town and continued to pay property taxes. They weren’t rich or poor. They continued to work, had a nice car and ate out on occasional trips to the casino. They had Medicare, VA and Blue Cross. The Hispanics are conservative. A family including grandparents live in one home. As usual, Reynolds is giving tax breaks to the rich, private schools and millionaire farmers who bought so much and now cry about their taxes.

We need more Robin Hoods like Rob Sand. $50 tax on a pack of cigs. I don’t enjoy the secondhand smoke coming from their car as I pass by. There are substance abuse programs and medications. Let’s fund those. Our millionaire farmers pollute the water and air with their chemicals. Tax them so we don’t have the highest cancer rate in the country. As usual, Reynolds protects big money. Watch out for the web she weaves.
