Just when I say Trump is a Communist sympathizer, he approves Lindsey Graham's legislation that puts powerful sanctions on Russia and then finally approves Ukraine's building Patriot missiles to defend itself against Russia's aerial attack. Just when one thinks Trump has come to his senses and actually realizes who our enemies are, he shoots himself in the foot.
Concerning North Korea, we know he has rejoiced in the "love letters" from Kim Jung Un. He praised Kim's ability as a dictator to say something and have his people sit up and listen. Trump calls off military drills with South Korea because they might seem threatening to Kim. Trump says North Korea is no threat. Trump attacked Iran because it might get a nuclear weapon, but he chills with North Korea that already has a nuclear weapon with a leader who is nuts enough to use it as soon as he succeeds in getting a missile that will reach the U.S.
And then there's Trump's budding relationship with China's Xi Jinping. Like Putin, Xi gets the red carpet with all the pomp and circumstance possible. China is currently aiding Iran in the war. With China's help, Iran has killed American soldiers. Putting out the red carpet for this dictator who has assisted their deaths is enough to make a patriot vomit. Also, in his closing statement, Xi laid down the law to Trump. He warned that the U.S. should not interfere in China's situation with Taiwan. Taiwan would be very valuable to China because of its location -- a base from which it can attack our allies like the Philippines and Japan. However, Xi has nothing to fear as Trump has said he will not send arms to Taiwan. Trump has already given some of our top technology to China in order to make his last "deal." It would not be the least bit surprising if he gifts Taiwan to China.
Affordability is the big issue in this next election, but I believe even more important is that our nation is in danger. We cannot fight Communism when our president aids and abets its growth and strength. Our current Republican representatives and senators have been totally deaf and dumb and useless in curbing Trump's being a clear and present danger to our nation. When you vote, consider that it is not just our pocketbooks that are in big trouble.
