Make no mistake about it. Marshalltown, even at it's current size, is rural. If you are a Baby Boomer you have become aware of how rural our health care system is. We have been affected for decades by budget cuts for public education. We need to reverse this trend by turning over the ballot and voting NO on Amendment 1. Well educated public school students will keep our community vital in the future.
