Stamp Out Hunger

Saturday, May 10 marks the 33rd anniversary of the largest one-day food drive in the nation - the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive. Letter carriers are in the communities they serve every day and often come face to face with a sad reality for too many, hunger. MPL boardroom antics part 4

Attention Walmart shoppers! Those of you who signed the petition list of over 200 signatures several months ago requesting that the Marshalltown Public Library display The Epoch Times and The American Rifleman are entitled to follow up information. Additionally, Board President Gaffney singled out your participation as without merit based on the retail location at which you signed it. Board members Lyons, ...

100 days of damage to Iowa

Participation in a prayer event does not equate to an endorsement of its message. The flag belongs to all Americans, and the presence of a Color Guard reminds us of the freedom to worship — or not — enshrined in the same Constitution veterans took an oath to defend. Thank you.
