Marshalltown Community College has announced its 59th Annual Tiger Days Golf Outing will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at the American Legion Memorial Golf Course. All proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the MCC men’s and women’s basketball programs. Hoop Memorial golf deadline approaching

TIMES-REPUBLICAN The Frank Lewis Glick American Legion Post 46 will host its third annual Al Hoop Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 19. The tournament is a four-person best shot 9-hole affair. Cost is $30 per person, which includes the golf, a cart and lunch. Entrants who register prior to Wednesday, Sept. 9, will also receive a complimentary commemorative T-shirt.
