MADRID — The North Tama football team fell to 10th-ranked Madrid in the opening round of the Class A state playoffs, losing 41-6 on Friday night at Randy Hinkel Field. The Redhawks (4-5) were held to 112 yards of total offense and just 40 yards on the ground. Senior quarterback Kolt Knaack was 17-for-31 passing for 72 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.
